Worker exploitation by company employing haredi women?

The following ynetnews article describes a company employing haredi women to work in a "work environment [that] complies with rabbis' instructions":

http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3243392,00.html

Nothing wrong with employing frum Jews in frum-friendly environments. But the last paragraph is disturbing:

"To begin with, the company offers the women a compensation of minimum wage plus five percent. Additionally, Matrix receives from the government a grant of NIS 1,000 (about USD 220) for each woman it employs. The cost of employing the women is very low compared to regular high-tech salaries. "

Aren't there halachot regarding paying fair wages? I can't believe that the high-tech labor market in Israel is so glutted that the market rate is barely above minimum wage! Would these women be able to make more in a more conventional company? If so, shouldn't the rabbis insist on a fair wage for their followers?

We must understand the real reason why the secularists who control israel are fixated on making charedim work, it is not because of a labor shortage, the unemployment rate is near 10%. The real reason the secularists want the charedim to work is because the charedim are growing rapidly, while the secularists are not having children, in a generation the charedim will take over as the secularists fade into history, not only in israel but here in exile also.

Let's put this in historical perspective, the ancient egyptians had a similar fear, and tried to stop jewish population growth by enslaving them, but God provided a miricle where the jews were able to continue their rapid growth, this miricle is repeating itself.

8 Now there arose a new king over Egypt, who knew not Joseph. 9 And he said unto his people: 'Behold, the people of the children of Israel are too many and too mighty for us; 10 come, let us deal wisely with them, lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there befalleth us any war, they also join themselves unto our enemies, and fight against us, and get them up out of the land.' 11 Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh store-cities, Pithom and Raamses. 12 But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and the more they spread abroad. And they were adread because of the children of Israel.

Malachai, I think you are deluding yourself when you say that
"The real reason the secularists want the charedim to work is because the charedim are growing rapidly, etc, etc."

I don't think the reasons are any different than the reason why people in the US would like to see those on welfare get back to work.

We are looking at this issue at different angles. You are looking at the working stiffs who have no society and are breaking their backs so someone else gets filthy rich, and they wonder why the charedim are not doing their share. I am looking at the oligarchy that runs israel, the bronfmans and the savons, who have made billions of dollars off israeli sweat shops and pull the strings of the israeli government, they have not worked a day in their lives, they hate seeing slackers in the chariedi community because they hate competition. To make matters worse, the chareidim rarely purchase the useless junk that the wealthy secularists sell, so a growing chareidi population is a threat to their business.
